Girls Cricket
Cricket is great for girls as it provides a social environment that helps foster friendships that last a lifetime. It builds confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills and creates a sense of belonging to a supportive local community. Cricket is a sport for all. No matter your age, skill or ability level there’s a format to suit everyone.
Cricket Australia has introduced the stages of cricket to assist players and parents to navigate a pathway of skills and development.
Cricket Blast is the starting journey for all girls. Experience the joy of backyard cricket in a more structured way. Cricket-based game-based activities recreate the magic and lasting memories of pick-up games of cricket. Targeted for girls aged 5-8. See more information about Blast HERE
The Girls Only competitions are subject to number of players registered this season. There are 3 stages in junior cricket which helps to define ball type, pitch length, outfield size etc. Please refer to Blue Book for more information or contact SIJCC Operations Manager at stivesjuniorcricket@gmail.com.
Girls Uniform
All girls playing in the all girls comp wear blue pants with SIJCC match shirt. Blue pants are free with every first time player registration.
